opening and closing the show STEPH DEPREZ (USA) Steph DePrez is a stand-up comedian and classically trained soprano whose work sits at the intersection of opera and comedy. A UCLA-trained opera singer and alumna of The Groundlings and UCB, she seamlessly combines virtuosic vocal performance with sharp stand-up and storytelling. Her material playfully deconstructs the traditions of classical music while showcasing the technical skill of a serious singer.

Based in Berlin, Steph has performed extensively across Europe, appearing as a feature or headliner at venues and festivals including Oslo Humorfest, Soho House (Berlin and Barcelona), Kings Comedy Brussels, Comedy Bär Cologne, RheinBühne Bonn, and she is a regular at Cosmic Comedy Berlin. She has supported major international acts such as David Cross, Michelle Wolf, Rosebud Baker, and Kyla Cobbler, and performed for the U.S. Army at Ramstein Air Base. She is the regular host of the “Love in Berlin” show with Propaganda Comedy in Berlin.

Her solo show, “8 Ways to Break a Glass”, blends stand-up comedy with opera arias reimagined in modern English, merging highbrow and lowbrow art into a combination that has shocked and delighted audiences across Europe. Steph’s work has received strong critical acclaim. Anna’s a Kiwi born, Melbourne raised, Berlin based full-time independent standup comedian, YouTube host, podcaster and producer. She celebrates life’s struggles with incisive standup and playful audience interaction. Her new standup solo, High Hoe enjoyed a successful full run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2025 and her previous solos, Creampie Curious and Creampie Clarity played at numerous comedy festivals through the UK and Australia in 2023 and 2024. She tours Europe and produces and hosts 5 weekly shows in Berlin. In 2025, she opened for Jeff Arcuri at Admiralspalast, in 2024 for April Macie on US army bases in Germany and for Ian Fidance in Berlin in 2019. She hosts the comedy channel, Ersties Nonsense, has the podcast Adults ONLY Comedy Berlin and has written for Comedy Central DE.
