After a two year plus hiatus including a pandemic, team changes, and more – Europe’s premiere dark comedy show in English is BACK.
Online tickets are always cheaper than the door – and online sales close 30 minutes prior to doors opening. We will have a limited number of tickets at the door for €20 based on available space.
Dark Mode Prime Time features an all pro lineup of non-stop cavalcade of offensive humour, holocaust jokes, and vivid discussions of necrophilia. Comics will take to the stage to discuss such wide ranging topics from pediatric cancer to why Germans love asparagus so much. Comics on the Prime Time show are typically professional comedians who have extensive touring experience & TV credits. This is not your standard Berlin open mic.
There is a new lineup every show – and up to date information is always available at dark-mo.de !
We are very pleased to bring back Hugleikur Daggsson (@daggsson) to Dark Mode for an extended set!
ABOUT HUGLEIKUR:
Hugleikur Dagsson is an Icelandic cartoonist and comedian known for simple drawings and dark humor. He has published many books, written a few plays, directed his own animated TV show and taped a couple of stand up specials. You can (and should!) check out his stuff at @dagsson on instagram, https://dagsson.com/ and everywhere else!
Supporting Hugleikur are Freddi Gralle and David Hailey:
Freddi Gralle:
As a German pastor’s daughter, the first stages Freddi Gralle spent much time on were those in church. Now that she is doing comedy, being judgmental comes in very handy.
Freddi is frighteningly confident and self-deprecating at the same time. Her comedy embraces the existential crises around God, sex, and the challenge of making Germans laugh. Freddi has performed all over Germany, in the US, AT, CZ, F and appeared on Germany’s Comedy Central, Nightwash and SKY One. She is also a tv writer for the Late Night Show “Shapira! Shapira!”.
David Hailey:
David Hailey is Berlin based American comic who has toured all over the world. He has performed at world famous LA comedy club the ICE house and Jongleurs in London. He has graced stages all over the US and Europe . He navigates the most complex issues with a smile and he will make you leave the show thinking and laughing. He also hates swans.
